Dr Chehade is an Adelaide based, Australian-trained Ophthalmologist. In addition to cataract surgery and general ophthalmology, he had complete further training in both glaucoma and medical retina.

Dr Chehade’s extensive training and dual-subspecialisation underpin a practice centred on delivering meticulous, evidence-based and compassionate ophthalmic care. He is driven by a commitment to early diagnosis, personalised treatment pathways and the integration of advanced microsurgical and imaging technologies to preserve sight and enhance quality of life. Cataract & Pterygium Surgery

Assessment and microsurgical treatment for cataracts and pterygium, with personalised planning focused on restoring comfort, clarity and everyday visual function.

Medical Retina

Diagnosis and treatment of retinal conditions, including retinal laser for vein occlusions and diabetic retinopathy. Care may also include anti-VEGF or steroid-based intravitreal injections when clinically appropriate.

Glaucoma

Comprehensive glaucoma assessment and treatment, including laser treatment for open- and closed-angle glaucoma, MIGS, Preserflo, trabeculectomy and larger glaucoma drainage tubes such as the Paul Tube.

Uveitis

Diagnosis and ongoing management of uveitis, with careful assessment of inflammation and coordinated treatment to protect vision and address underlying causes.

General Ophthalmology
